Looking for a truly fantastic festive shopping experience? Each year the centre of Bath is transformed into a magical Christmas shopper’s paradise, as over 170 chalets packed full of gorgeous Christmas gifts line the streets surrounding the Roman Baths and Bath Abbey. Soak up the sights, smells and sounds as you wander around the market; we guarantee the aroma of warming mulled wine and freshly baked mince pies, enjoyed with a generous sprinkling of cheery carols that will get even the biggest of humbugs into the Christmas spirit! Longleat Festival of Light returns to transform the park into a glowing winter wonderland including the Safari Park and House. Longleat will once more be hosting the wonderful “Festival of Light” the lanterns will be even more magical and impressive than before!

FRIDAY: After your local departure we travel to Bath for the Christmas Markets. We depart around 1630 to travel to Wells and the Swan Hotel.

SATURDAY: A leisurely departure to Longleat where your visit commences with a ride through the safari park from the comfort of your coach. You then see Longleat House dressed for Christmas, as well as a vast display of lanterns spread over 30 acres and featuring a variety of designs. Each year the theme and display changes, the overall effect will be beautiful by day and incredible after dark! You depart from here early evening to return to our hotel for our evening meal.

SUNDAY: A leisurely start today, before travelling to Street for a spot of shopping in Clarks Village located in the rural countryside of central Somerset with over 90 brands offering up to 60% off all year round. After lunch, we make our way home to arrive late afternoon/early evening.

This historic award-winning hotel is located directly opposite Wells Cathedral. Parts of the hotel date back to 1422 and over the years the hotel has been sympathetically refurbished and extended. All 46 bedrooms are en-suite and elegantly furnished with television, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities. There is an elegant bar, a comfortable lounge with a warming log fire, a beautiful restaurant and terrace. Owing to the nature of the building there is no lift.
