Ireland’s beauty is legendary – from green pastures to the deep moody lakes and the wild rolling hills. Killarney is quite rightly one of Ireland’s most popular tourist destinations with the town itself bubbling with traditional Irish hospitality and the pubs are as typical as you are ever likely to get!

WEDNESDAY: We have an early start to travel to Pembroke for our mid-afternoon ferry crossing to Rosslare. We continue to our overnight hotel in Waterford.

THURSDAY: We leave Waterford and travel to Cork for the morning, Ireland’s third city full of charming Georgian houses, bustling markets and historic sights. Amble around the pretty craft shops, visit Shandon Church, wander along tree-lined Grand Parade, or over the attractive bridges along the River Lee. We continue our journey to the Killarney Towers Hotel for our four-night stay.

  • The Ring of Kerry – One of Ireland’s most scenic routes. First, we drive through Killorglin famous for the ‘Puck Fair’ festival. Onto the ‘Kerry Bog Village’ for coffee and to experience days-gone-by in this recreated village of thatched cottages and peat fires. We shall stop for lunch before continuing to Sneem with its waterfalls and peaceful setting. From here we travel to Molls Gap then onto Ladies View with views of the three lakes of Killarney. We complete our day with a drive through Killarney National Park.
  • A tour to the beautiful Dingle Peninsula, County Kerry’s most northern peninsula. It is a wild and remote region with wonderful coastal scenery.
  • Today the choice is yours. You may like to enjoy a free day in Killarney or why not take the option of venturing on a traditional jaunting car ride through the National Park followed by a spectacular boat cruise with commentary on Killarney’s largest lake at Ross Castle.

MONDAY: We leave Killarney and travel to Blarney just outside of Cork. Chance to ‘Kiss the Blarney Stone’ and to shop in the excellent Blarney Woollen Mills. We continue to Wexford and our hotel.

TUESDAY: We travel to Rosslare for the morning ferry crossing to Pembroke in Wales. We continue our journey back into England for our arrival home early evening.
