On this tour, you will experience eagles, a cruise where you are virtually guaranteed to see the resident pod of dolphins. Visit Dunrobin Castle and Gardens, feed the reindeer in the Cairngorms and enjoy a steam train ride through beautiful Highland countryside.

SUNDAY: Following our morning departure we travel to the north of England for our overnight stay.

MONDAY: We cross the border and travel by way of the Falkirk Wheel before arriving into the Highlands of Scotland and the Craiglynne Hotel, Grantown on Spey for the next four nights.

TUESDAY:  We travel into Inverness the capital of the Highlands for free time. Continue our drive north crossing Moray Firth, Cromarty Firth, Dornoch Firth and Loch Fleet to arrive at Dunrobin Castle.  Dating back 700 years, this fairy-tale castle has extensive gardens to explore in a dramatic coastal setting. This afternoon we enjoy a fascinating falconry display with Golden Eagles, Falcons and other species.  WEDNESDAY: Travel to Aviemore to board the Strathspey steam train and the stunning 40 minute trip through the Scottish Highlands. Disembark at Broomhill and continue our journey onto the Cairngorm National Park where we meet a herder who will take you to visit the reindeer paddock and exhibition.

THURSDAY: Today we explore the Whisky trail. It is the most recognised region in the world for whisky production passing numerous distilleries along the way.  A stop will be made in Nairn, renowned for its white sandy beaches. Continue along the coast and over the Kessock suspension bridge to join the Dolphin Spirit, we will have a 90-minute cruise into the Moray Firth to hopefully spot the pod of resident dolphins.

FRIDAY: We depart the Highlands and travel south, still taking in the amazing scenery that this region of Scotland offers.  Cross the border into England for our overnight hotel.

SATURDAY: Continue our journey south to arrive home late afternoon/early evening.
